Colour run remover | Restores original fabric colours
Dr. Beckmann Colour Run Remover is a laundry product that is perfect for those who want to be free of the stress of colour runs in their clothes. It's formulated with natural ingredients and is safe for sensitive skin, so you can use it on all your clothes, from your favourite shirt to the shirt your husband refuses to wear because he doesn't like how it looks on him.
Dr. Beckmann Colour Run Remover is designed specifically with you in mind: it contains no harsh chemicals or synthetic materials so it won't damage your clothing, and its mild formula means it won't irritate your skin. This product works best on cotton fabrics and we recommend following the Instruction for a better result,
Colour run remover is not suitable for Synthetic fibres, Jeans and indanthren colours and its not designed to remove sun lotion/milk or self-tanner stains—if that's what you need help with, check out our other products!

- IMPORTANT: Always test for colour fastness before use. Non-colourfast fabrics may lose their original colour when using the Colour Run Remover.

In a container (30 – 95 °C):
- Completely dissolve the powder in 6 litres of hot (above 30 °C) water.
- Add up to 1.5 kg of garments and submerge fully. Do not add any detergent.
The garments must be completely submerged in the solution the entire time; if necessary, use (old) plates to weigh down the garments adequately.
- Close the container airtight (e.g. lid).
- Allow garments to soak for at least 4 hours. For best results allow washing to soak overnight, for up to 24 hours.
- Then rinse thoroughly several times with clean water, or wash separately in the washing machine.
- With stubborn colour runs the process can be safely repeated.
We recommend wearing rubber gloves when using the product. People with respiratory diseases should avoid using the product in containers.
In the washing machine (60 – 95 °C):
- Load the drum with up to 3 kg of garments.
- Select the maximum allowable temperature (above 60 °C) and start the programme without the pre-wash cycle. Do not add any detergent.
- Only after 15 minutes, pour the content of the sachet into the main compartment of the detergent drawer and then add immediately 1–2 litres of water. (top-loaders: pour directly onto the drum).
- If light colour run stains are still visible on the garments after the application, we recommend repeating the process using the ""In a container" method. "
Colour Fastness Test
Absolutely essential for discoloured coloured textiles. Please test on all original shades of colours:
Dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder in 100 ml of hot water, and thoroughly use this solution to dampen the garment in an inconspicuous place. Colour removal treatment may be carried out, if the shade of colour in the treated area
- Does not change during the application and during the 30 minute reaction time (not even temporarily - please observe closely!)
- Matches the original shades of the fabric after washing and drying.

- Please follow the instructions and advice on colour fastness (see side label).
- Always follow fabric care instructions and manufacturer's instructions.
- Synthetic fibres, jeans and indanthrene dyes or colour runs cannot be discoloured.
- Not suitable for removing stains from suncream, suntan lotion or self-tanning products and products that contain UV-protection.
