Fully automatic machines with automatic cleaning programme: Please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Fully automatic machines with powder compartment:
- Start the brewing process with a tab in the powder coffee compartment and switch off the device for 8 minutes after half a cup of water. Then switch it on again and end the run.
- Repeat this 3 times without a tab.
- Remove the brew group and rinse well.
- Let 2 cups of water run through before use.
Machines without a powder compartment:
- Remove the brewing group and rinse thoroughly with warm water using a sponge / brush and let it dry.
- Completely dissolve the tab in warm water and let it run through in the water tank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Traditional Espresso machines:
- Clamp the portafilter with a tab in a blind filter into the brew group.
- Press the brew lever (or switch) for 10 seconds. Repeat the process 5 times.
- Remove the portafilter, clean the brewing group with a suitable brush.
- Clamp portafilter with blind filter in the brewing group, rinse 10 times for 5 seconds with water.
- Wash the coffee filter thoroughly and let it dry.
Pad and Capsule machines:
- Completely dissolve the tab in warm water and let it run through in the water tank according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Thermos flasks / drip trays / coffee pots:
- To clean the respective items, fill them with 2/3 hot water and dissolve 1-2 tabs in it, depending on the size. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse off well.
